Our products have Miami-Dade product approvals and have passed the large missile impact tests. Shutters are not required on any of our impact-resistant products. All impact products must pass the same hurricane tests required of a code approved Shutter. The interlayer keeps the window intact and sealed against wind even if glass is shattered by a flying object.
